The only thing that could have rivaled the excitement of my first plane ticket purchase this morning is the giddiness I’m feeling after purchasing the SkyTeam Europe Pass this afternoon.

I will be staying with family from my father’s side in Barcelona, most of which I have never met before. I will also have a few American friends in the city whose trips coincide with mine and look forward to seeing them there. Now the next task at hand is to start arranging places to stay on Couchsurfing and finish packing!
My revised first three months of travel:
01 Jun – Atlanta > Barcelona
04 Jun – Barcelona > New York (Speaking at Internet Week)
08 Jun – New York > Barcelona (Resume voyage)
22 Jun – Barcelona > (layover in Paris) > London (Wireless Festival)*
03 Jul – London > Paris (Bastille Day)*
06 Jul – Paris > Belgrade (EXIT Festival)*
14 Jul – Belgrade > Paris*
02 Aug – Paris > Oslo (Øya Festival)*
16 Aug – Oslo > Stockholm (Bus, most likely)
23 Aug – Stockholm > Dublin (Electric Picnic)*
06 Sep – Dublin > Amsterdam*
11 Sep – Amsterdam > Atlanta
The stars indicate which segments are included in my Europe Pass. You can keep up with my continued travel schedule over on Dopplr.

Good seeing you last night! If you haven’t seen this already, here’s a good recent blog post I found – he took a year off before starting college & traveled the world…
